Refunds

These are the refund rules for Eddi. They form part of our Terms of Service (section 6.6). Our online reseller, Paddle.com (the "Reseller"), is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, so refunds are made through it.

Refunds

  • (a) 14 days to change your mind. You can ask for a refund of your first payment for a paid plan within 14 days of that payment, for any reason. Refunds are handled by the Reseller as Merchant of Record, and its Refund Policy also applies, including to later payments. If a payment for your plan is refunded in full, your plan ends and your Organization is suspended: your work is kept, and you write to us at [email protected] about what happens next. You can cancel at any time (Terms 6.3a): canceling stops the next renewal, and the period already paid for keeps working until it ends.
  • (b) Charges made by mistake. If you are charged by mistake (for example, twice for the same period, more than the price shown at checkout plus tax, or after you canceled in time), tell us and we ask the Reseller to refund the mistaken amount in full.
  • (c) If we end the Service or your plan without your fault. If we end the Service (Terms 16.2), or end or suspend your paid plan for a reason that isn't your breach of our Terms or non-payment, we ask the Reseller to refund the unused part of the period you prepaid, pro rata.
  • (d) How refunds are paid. Refunds are issued through the Reseller, as the Merchant of Record, to the original payment method. We ask the Reseller to issue a refund under (b) or (c) within 5 business days of our confirming it; how long it then takes to reach you depends on your card issuer or payment provider. To ask for a refund, go to paddle.net, or write to [email protected] and we'll help.
  • (e) Free use and your own keys. Free plans are free, so there is nothing to refund. Charges by providers on your own keys (Terms 6.4) are not paid to us; ask the provider.
  • (f) Your rights under law. Nothing in our Terms limits rights you have by law that can't be excluded by contract, including any statutory or consumer rights where they apply to you (for example, rights if the Service is faulty or not as described).
